Joel Mafeng is currently an undergraduate studying Urban and Regional Planning at ATBU Bauchi, as at 2020. He is an indigene of Plateau state, from Jos south local Government. He loves God and he also loves men. He is a worship leader, a vocalist, a guitarist, and a songwriter. He started writing songs when he was 8 years old. Because of his love for music, age didn't stop him from joining the adults Choir and Music Band at his local Church in Vom where he grew up. He was just 10 years old and the youngest when he joined. Mafeng, when he was a young teenager grew up loving music without loving God, but he later met with God, fell in love with Him and then knew his purpose in life. He has dedicated his gift and talent to serve in God's vineyard. The aim of his ministry is to glorify God, touch the lost, and to waken sleeping Christians. With his debut EP, 'I Have Decided' (Dropping on the 15th of June, 2020) he is telling God that he is willing to follow and to walk with Jesus on this journey at all cost. The EP contains 3 tracks: 1. I Have Decided 2. Alpha and Omega 3. Yana Ko'ina. Joel Mafeng sees himself as nothing more than a vessel being used by God to reach out to His people.
